This is the twenty-third entry of the MACT Project, welcome. This week has been Request Week for the MACT Project. So, we present Virgencita de Zapopan, as performed by Jose Alfredo Jimenez. Before tacking this song, I had a vague understanding of the song--I am sorry guys, you can strangle my neck later--but after listening to the song the beauty of J. A. Jimenez's lyrics are magnified. I have a NEW found respect for him and the musicians assisting in recording his priceless and timeless songs.
